Sefydlwyd Cwmni Cyfieithu Nanhyfer gan Cathrin Brynach yn 2001. Penderfynodd sefydlu’r cwmni yn bennaf er mwyn medru cyfuno magu plant gyda chadw’r ymennydd yn finiog! Oddi ar hynny, mae safon cyfieithu’r cwmni wedi golygu fod ‘na alw cyson wedi bod am wasanaeth y cwmni gyda chwmniau a mudiadau mawr a bach wedi bod yn troi at Nanhyfer er mwyn cyflawni eu anghenion cyfieithu. Mae Cathrin â gradd anrhydedd gyfun yn y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg (BA, Coleg Prifysgol Cymru Bangor) sy’n golygu fod ganddi’r cymwysterau delfrydol ar gyfer cyfieithu o’r Saesneg i’r Gymraeg ac o’r Gymraeg i’r Saesneg. Cyn sefydlu Cwmni Cyfieithu Nanhyfer, bu Cathrin yn athrawes ac yn fwyaf diweddar yn gweithio yn adran ymchwil rhaglenni cwmni teledu S4C. The Nanhyfer Translation Company was established by Cathrin Brynach in 2001. She decided to establish the company largely in order to be able to combine raising a family with keeping the brain ticking over! Ever since then, the quality of the translation work carried out by the company has meant a regular demand for the company's services with both large and small organisations and companies turning to Nanhyfer to fulfill their translating requirements. Cathrin has a joint honours degree in Welsh and English (BA, University of Wales, Bangor) which means that she has the ideal qualifications for translating from English into Welsh and from Welsh into English. Before establishing the Nanhyfer Translation Company, Cathrin worked as a teacher and latterly in the programmes research department of television company S4C.
